Grinding

We have the ability to precision grind components to within 0.002mm on size and flatness.

All of our Jones & Shipman surface grinders have magnetic chucks and Sony digital readouts for increased accuracy and to reduce manufacturing times.

We grind various types of materials including soft to 64 rockwell toolsteels, phosphor bronze, aluminium, carbide and most types of stainless steel.

Using our Optidress attachments we can grind various forms and angles.

We can produce or regrind dies, punches, pilots and other cylindrical ground items.
